thermostat housing

My thermostat housing has been leaking on my 1999 cobra car years now. I ordered a new one from ford but its only the back half. I am looking for the front half that is part number F6ZE8A544AA. It looks like a sea shell that had a V and the small nipple coming from it. My fear is that this part is discontinued.

Has anyone had luck in finding this part?

Going by your question I think what your looking for is the oil cooler/ bypass/ nipple housing ---a separate part that bolts together with the thermostat housing. The oil cooler / bypass housing may not be no longer available.

This might be the wrong one, but here is a complete used unit on ebay that looks in pretty good condition and a good price. You can see the factory part #s for both parts in the heading and photos, neither #matches the one you listed?
