A guy I work with is selling his 88 Ford 3/4 ton 4-wheel drive EX-cab Long bed 460 5 speed. The tranny needs a rebuild(prolly this summer) he has the 300$$ rebuild kit for it he will give me. Its missing on 2 cylynders but still has good power. So It needs the top end done. Has a little rust behind the door panel and at the bottom of the Ex-cab( Pretty bad)
I think I could get it for around 600 bucks. All the work would be done by me so no shop labor.
What do you think?
Gas millege isn't an issue since it gets better than what I am driving now-76 chevy.
