thinking of going to 95 R wheels...

I've been debating it, but I love the factory 93 wheels. 95 R's look so "pimp" on the 93 cobra. just seems to fit. i've been looking around, anyone have pics of this setup??

How wide a tire/wheel combo could you put in a fox? Will the 17x9 R wheels work with a 245/45 tire ore even a 255 tire?

You can easily run a 275x40x17 rear and 255x40x17 front on the 95R wheels with no issues..... but on a 93 Cobra w/5lug conversion you will have to either go to reg. GT/LX rear track width w/5.95BS wheels or buy the special 6.42BS '95R wheels that Ford makes which will tuck the the rear wheel when using a SN95 rear track width. The front wheels would be a 5.95BS either way.

even the saleen wheels look pimp on the fox cobra, more aggressive looking. there is a member with them on a teal 93 cobra.

edit: i also have chrome cobra r's on my rig, but they stick out past the wheel well too far for my taste. they rub a bit also. thinking of going back to the oem's.

Mark, have you run 275-40's on the front of your 93's with SN95 spindles? I'm having a heck of a time trying to get'em to fit on my car even with -3* camber.
