That's right. I use to be a proud owner of a 01 Cobra and then I started reading about all the fun you guys were having with your Terminators. Thanks alot!:-D I just couldn't take it anymore So now I'm a proud owner of a silver 03 coupe. You guys were right. This car is awesome. If anyone reading this is thinking about getting an 03-04 DO IT! You won't regret it.
My Mods:
Steeda Catback: great sound, no drone and bada$$ WOT
Steeda CAI: big improvement and great blower sound
Steeda Tri Ax: more fun shifing and I kinda like the noise that
everyone complains about. It's not that bad.
I want new Chromies now but can't decide on 17's or 18's with Nittos or GS-D3's

Anyway these cars are a blast to drive and so is this forum.
It's addicting. This is by far the best "TERMINATOR" forum.

You made the right choice. I sold my 97 vette for the Cobra and moved up in the world. Never did mods to my Vette, but can't stop with the Cobra.

By the way I grew up in NKC and graduated from the North Kansas City HS. Is it still there? I graduated in 64 and haven't been back since. Thinking about going to the 40th anniversary.

Yeah its ridiculous. My girlfriend claims that our sex life has gotten worse since I bought the Cobra 7 weeks, 4 days and 23 hours ago (who's keeping track??). She also thinks I when I'm on the board I'm just downloading porn. HA!!! I actually deleted most of it to make room for drag movies from this board.
I also have no money, thanks to this board. But I still glad I have alot of buddies on the board with which to have no money with.

Hahaha you guys are funny. I bought my cobra in nov 03 and soon after found this forum. Now all I do is buy buy buy, but you only live once and its the greatest feeling knowing you drive a cobra and watching the vettes bow down. Just installed my pulley, idlers, predator, etc......what a blast to drive. Have fun with your new car bro and definitly get the pulley as your next mod!

Okay back to business. Let me see, now I need a 2.80 pulley with a prediator tune. Then a MRT H-pipe an Accufab TB would be good for a few more horsepower. How about a set of Kook's full length headers and then...................................

I had an 01 cobra and it only took me 6 months after I got it to decide to get an 03. I love it. . I paid 41k(stupid) got 16k toward the 03 ( 01 cobra and 97 gt)two trade-ins. OTD about a 26k loan for the 03. Then two months later I paid the 03 off. sweet:beer:

Good to see another K.C. member on the board. There's beginning to be quite a few of us. I work up north at the K.C. Assembly Plant. I live out towards the Blue Springs/Independence area, not far from the Independence Center. My brother-in-law has an '03 also out this way. We should all meet up at one of the Mid-America Mustang shows this spring/summer. I'm considering doing a pulley swap, if you decide to do yours yourself and need an extra hand, give me a holler.

BTW: Congratulations and good decision on the '03 purchase. :beer:

I feel your pain. It doesn't get better when you get older. I'm 58, so far only 2 mods, Stingers and cai. Next are sub-frames, predator, apten, better tires and on and on.
I really love this car. It is the best car I have ever owned. I look for excuses to get out and drive the damn thing.
