I can get a GT40 lower intake manifold for $400.00
I assume it will fit to a stock Lightning iron block and
some 2004 Cobra heads.

Does anyone know for sure?

I know the stock blower inlets at the rear against the cowl,
But I think another blower can bolt to it to give a left side inlet for my Lightning.

I am seeking anyone with knowledge of this parts mix-up.

Thanks.

I'm not sure the Cobra heads will interchange with GT heads. Even if it does you'll have to find a solution to bolt up a blower, then you have to deal with the dual injector setup.

I seem to be in the same boat if I use the 2004 Cobra heads, lower intake manifold (with spacers)and inter-cooler.
The Cobra superchargers seem to all exit to the rear and out the right side. (Right into the battery)

Just from looking at LOTS of pictures, it looks as though the Cobra inlet elbow at the rear of
the supercharger will flip over and exit to the left side.....bolt pattern wise.

What is your guess?
