Those To Put An 03, 04 In Dash CD player In There 99 thru 02?

Was there anything you had to do... or is it a direct swap? anything need to be trimed or cut?

I put a cd/tape combo out of a 02 f350 and all i had to do was trim the platic piece that slops down behind the stock radio only too a couple of min. I have an 01

Your looking at minimal trimming of the plastic piece on the top of the dash. Even with a cordless dremel I did mine in about 4 minutes.
