Does the arrow need to face the hose coming from the pcv valve; or does the arrow point to the hose that connects to the intake?

This is how I have it set up. Is the air flow correct?

Give it time. I'll double check mine.

My arrow isn't visible unless I take it out.

Did you remove the filter that came with it?

You have to put steel wool inside or those copper scrubbers.
Actually, you don't HAVE to, but the oil droplets form faster if there is something there to form on. In the open atmosphere, droplets form around dust particles. The steel wool or screen material acts like the dust. So it will work better with something in there to help the droplets form.

Put some steel wool in there. Went for another drive and it's still bone dry. Again, not that I'm complaining but I don't think this is normal. This is why I was making sure the arrow is facing the right way.

Mine fills to about 1/4 after about a week. After it gets about that full, it stops working due to not enough volume to drop the relative pressure. Run it about a week and dump it whenever it gets about 1/4 full.
