throttle bodies

Hey guys. Will an after market throttle body make a big improvement over stock? I am looking at the BBK and Accufab. Is it worth the money to change it? Thanks Dan

nope, not just the tb by itself.

One of the magazines, MM&FF I think, did an accufab install on a '99 cobra a while back, n/a it only made about 5 hp, but supercharged it made 20+.

from the looks of it, the guy is not n/a.

With the p1sc, adding a tb you will see gains in power, absolutely

No experience with the BBK TB, but I have the accufab single blade TB and it works quite well, but you have to do a couple of minor modidfications to your intake hat, and gasket match your lower intake to recieve the full benefits of the Accufab TB. Heres a pic of my intake hat and lower intake that I worked over before installing the Accufab, its a little work but well worth the extra 14 rwhp. It took me and my bud Omar about 14 hours to do all this. Here are the pics...DA snake boy!!
