Is there a difference in a Triton 5.4 and a Lightning 5.4 timing chain cover? I heard that there was difference but I can't find anything that says otherwise. Does anyone know?

Not real sure,but might be some mounting points.The lightning has a bracket with the idlers mounted to it. You can buy a new one for about 105.00 w/o crankshaft seal. I know i just bought one.
Yeah see thats what i was told. About the mounting points for the pulley bridge. Did you get yours from auto zone or what?
no its a ford oem part,got it from tousley ford in minneasota. It comes with the 3 piece gasket, but you will need to buy the crankshaft seal and be careful when installing the seal.
