The Purchase:
The car is a 2011 Kona Blue A6 Vert sporting factory 3.15's out back. I bought the car for my wife in March of this year; and she named her Tinkerbell.
The Exhaust:
As with any stock Mustang, Tink was entirely too quiet. By April, Tink was treated to a Bassani Cut-N-Clamp X-Pipe and Dynomax SS Race Bullet Cat-back. She finally had the sound to match her looks.

The Quest for a CAI/Tune:
Since then, I have spent the past 4 months of my internet life searching and reviewing countless threads regarding tune reviews. It seems that for every tune thread, there are 10 threads about cylinder #8 going FUBAR . Having previously owned a 2001 Lightning and a 2003 Terminator, I can tell you this isn't the first vehicle Ford has put out that has headaches (as many fellow members know).
Upon JLT's announcement of his painted CAI's for the 2011's, I decided it was time to get off the bench and get in the game. After months of reading, it was official - I WAS CONFUSED! :??: With so many companies to choose from, this was a very difficult decision. In the end, I chose AMAZON and couldn't be happier. After a 30min phone conversation with Rick, he calmed my fears and assured me that he doesn't "live on the edge" with his tunes.
After waiting patiently to receive my tuner/cai package, all I can say is this tune is AMAZING!
Factory CAI vs JLT CAI:
The Tune:
Rick has truly mastered the tune for the A6 . Shifts no longer SLIDE/SLIP into gear, they are very positive. The more aggressive you are with the accelerator, the firmer the shift :burnout:. The trans seems to respond much quicker when downshifting. The car is much more pleasant during daily driving, as the off-idle lag is gone (what a pain in the @ss that was :cuss. I simply have no complaints with this tune .

The Summary:
For those of you who own the A6 version of the 2011+ 5.0's and are currently on the fence about who to go with - Look no further than Rick Erdman of Amazon Tuning Solutions. Rick and Linn Erdman are TOP-NOTCH people to work with
So in closing, ask yourself these questions:
Do you own an A6 2011+ GT?
Do you want a safe/reliable tune?
Do you want to turn your A6 Pony into a galloping badass?
If you answered yes to any or all of the questions above, then give Rick a call .
