Tire pressure monitor system stoped working.

I don't know why or how but I really dont care. I had the tire pressure light on along with the tire pressure message because I don't have the sensors on my wheels. Anyways I washed the car yesterday and the light and message are gone. It has been off for whatever reason. I was wondering if after a long period of time the computer takes the message off... Idk I find it a bit strange but hope it stays this way.
