I got a flat in my drivers side front tire, which is 245/45/17 and I have a brand new 225/45/17 same kind of tire, sitting im garage. If I throw it on for a while would it do any harm? effect handling alot?

You should be alright, it will look funky though. I'd put it on and get it changed as soon as you can. Handling wouldn't be messed up all that much.
Hope it helps!

I agree, it will look kinda wierd, but i blew 2 of my tires (at different times) and had to do a couple run arounds with a donut on :( so it will be better then that. Get it changed as soon as you can. You shouldnt notice too much of a difference, if any.
