What is the widest tire that will fit onto the stock 95 cobra wheels? thanx....I was wanting like a 275 or 285, but i don't thin they will fit....thanx

The stock wheels are 17 x 8's. I've seen lots of people run 275 x 40 x 17's on them. There is a good bit of buldge on the sidewall though. We probably have some guys here with pics, hopefully. ;-)

On that note, I just got a set of Saleen replicas off of Ebay. I got the 18x9 with 24mm offset. I was wondering if I'd be able to fit 275/35/18s all around without the front sticking out past the fender or rubbing. I'd prefer to have the extra rubber but if I have to I guess I'll drop it down in the front.

HEY IT WILL FIT JUST FINE I HAVE 275/40/17 ON MY COBRA R'S AND THEY FIT PERFECTLY ON A 97 COBRA, AND MY FRIEND HAS 295/35/18 ON HIS 98 HIS STICK A LIL OUT BUT YOU CAN PUT EM ON ""WIDER IS BETTER"

Cobra R's also come in 17x9, not the 17x8.
