Hey guys,

Im going to buy some 28 x 12.5" mickey thompsons and
15x8 weld wheels for $300. But am I going to need any kind of backspacing
to make it fit right? And would I have to cut the pipes to
make them fit? Anyone have this setup? Thanks

You'll need 4.5-5.5" of backspacing to make the wheels work. That's a lot of tire though. What kind of mods do you have?

Just 4.30's...Is that a bad thing having a tire that size? Ive never
had slicks or radials before so thats why I ask. The gears are
awsome but the take off sucks with the spinning.

That is a lot of tire for you.

They must be ET streets for it to be a 28X12.5 and if that is the case a 8" rim is too small.

the tires are already mounted on the the 15x8" and I also saw that it
is beaded together. Well for future reference what tire size would be
perfect for that fitting? Thanks
