Just won a set of 18 x 9 front and 18 x 10.5 rear chromies from AFS on EBAY and looking for recomendations for the best tires for them.

Kumho MX for street duty. 275/35/18 front and 295/35/18 on the rear works very well.

They're expensive, but I'm wholesale 100% on the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S.

Looks like they are going to be around $250 a copy. I have managed to get 50,000 miles out of a set, and they handle great for what I do on the street.
