raptor in NY sounds like a nightmare to live with between parking in tight spots, door dings/dents and hellish insurance/tag/storage fees. But hey, if you've got the cash burn why not? YOLO!

Had a 11 Raptor with 6.2 that could break 15s 1/4 with 98 mph top speed so I'm sure a 3.5 EB can. "Cough"not that anyone is drag racing a raptor

did you have a supercab truck with headers, exhaust and a tune? I've never heard of a stock gen 1 raptor breaking into the 15s.

cool trucks none the less

Uh, 2014 Raptors didn't sell for $70k. You might want to look that up.

Loaded MSRP was around $57k.

$57 - $48 doesn't equal 22, not where I come from...

that's still over 60k out the door.

my point is OP could save thousands just by getting a 14 or a 15 Raptor.

I said the same thing about affording it. If you got the cash and have that great opportunity to get the new Raptor at a great price, I say go for it.
@mc01svt He has a place to park it in underground parking for 400-600 a month!

Buying a raptor just because it's "cool" doesn't make a ton of sense even with a better situation for it. You can be a home owner with plenty of parking, never gonna move, other cars to drive , plenty of money etc. and it's still a decision that has to be weighed heavily. So clearly for you it makes zero sense.

With that said hell yea buy it cause it's badass and post pics lol.

With $400-$600 for parking, id get the cheapest reliable pos i could find if i needed a vehicle.

edit* Who am i to give advice like this. I'm currently in the process of getting rid of good paid off daily for a more fun car (ctsv ls6). Carry on! But i do accept im making a bad decision.
