Bought these with the idea of installing in my car but sold it over the weekend. I had a 2.3 VMP and stock motor, these were spec'd for a street car, with a nice chop but without willing to sacrifice driveability. I'd say they would sound very similar to Comp stage 2's. Took 5 months to get - skip the wait!
For those wondering, Todd sends the specs to Comp and they grind using their cores. See a close up of the cam card which is attached.
Also, figured since I'd be in the motor, i would replace the chains and upgrade the tensioners. This will come with brand new Form OEM primary & secondary chains, and upgraded tensioners straight from MMR. (see receipt).
What you will get:
- Cams
- Upgraded Springs
- OEM primary and secondary chains
- Upgraded tensioners from MMR
You do NOT need to upgrade the retainers.
