Had some good weather the other day up here. So I decided to to some things I was palnning for spring. First was installing my GT500 diffuser that I picked up cheap during early winter. Wasnt to bad at all install 2hrs. hardest part was separating the stock Gt diffuser from bumper didnt want to damage clips or bumper itself. My other task was always wanted carbon dash panels but it only comes on CS models. Some Ive always liked it. So I figure I'll try something on my own. Said WTH. I purchased some carbon Vinyl wrap from local place and took the challenge. Dash panels come off pretty simple around speedo. On the passenger side you have to pull out airbag in order to get to 2 screws for leftside of center panel and corner passenger vent. I didnt want to unplug the airbag like others have done. dont want to tamper with airbag plugs so I just disconnected the battery waited few minutes. Also since its a flat surface figure shouldn't be to bad to do so I just let it hang from dash slightly.So I did it and Im very impress on what i did for first time. You have to be careful with the chrome trims clips are very delicate especially the center one. Only flaw was the air bag I did it in one piece didnt want to do 2pc didnt look right. The center crease I can live with. Sorry for the crappy pics will try and get better ones just want to give u fellas some thing to look at. Next will be doin the center console.
