torsen changed for the s550?

cant seem to find a solid answer...

So i know the tracpack in the older 5.0 2011-2014 has the torsen option and thats a no go for drag racing it at the track etc... My question is with the new rear IRS is the performance pack still a bad idea with the torsen ? for drag racing at the track? i know the half shafts will need changed but thats irrelevant to the torsen. SO performance pack or no?

The gt500 came with the torsion in 13 14. sure its not going to hold up like a spool but i am fairly sure its tough.

The Performance Pack also has the Torsen rear and will not hold up at the drag strip for long.

They are pretty tough. The only downside on the drag strip is they are a little less predictable as compared to a locked differential.

On a side note the PP is the most bang for your buck option on the 15+ Mustangs. You couldn't even buy all the parts they are including for the price they charge, nevermind install them.
