Got a 2002 GT with a TR-3650 5 Speed and was wanting to know which fluid is good to service the trans with????

I use Mobil 1 atf 2 quarts iirc, some people say amsoil atf works well too.

Cool thanks I was runnin ford atf fluid and I heard royal purple was good but didn't know which one to get I run Mobil in the motor would Any parts store have tht or certain ones

I use the secret sauce. One bottle of Lucas and top it off with mobile one synthetic. Its either 3.0 or 3.2 quarts total for the trans fluid can't quiet remember.

Redline MTL or MT-85. I just switched to the MT-85 for a little more gear protection since it is a little thicker and I race at the track alot. I loved the MTL nice smooth shifts and the trans has less gear noise than with ATF. I have been running it for 4 years. There is a tech paper on their web site. You should read it. IMHO it is the best fluid period.

Everything is updated to Mercon V nowadays. Just did 3 qts into my T-45 and its nice and smooth.

Have Royal Purple in mine, because it was on sale so why not.
