taking my buds gt500 for its first time to the track....

mods are upgraded clutch, CAI, tune, and exhaust.
also going to put my 10.5 slicks from my stang on the back for sticky factor.


What rpm should I launch at for a sturdy,but safe launch?
also what should I be shifting at for best results?
Ive driven this car when it was stock but was told the mods really woke it up big time.


with a good solid run, what should i be shooting to get out of it in the 1/4?

thisll be at Jackson Sc for svt day.

I didnt think any were available and the stock clutch is good for more than enough so they say. Are you sure?

My car bogs bad at low RPM, better rev high with those slicks.....BTW can I borrow your slicks?:-D

idk if this is too late but. . .

4K-4.5K for sturdy but safe launch, shift at 6K unless your limiter is higher, then 6250 or around there

why upgraded clutch ?

the car should run 11.7-11.8 @ 117-120.

heres big part i missed....he said its got a pully and has 620hp,not sure if he meant flywheel or not

car is black with silver stripes

But what clutch? I was not aware of any aftermarket units available yet and really not needed?

he said it was something from factory....

did they have an option to upgrade?
or maybe they had a problem with the clutches with they first came out?
