Well I can not wait for Nov. 15th!That is super stallions of the net track rental!!Just installed a Hensler Racing T-45,4.56 gears and brand new slicks.I went 12.59 @113.9 on et streets and 4.30's.Does antone think I will see a et drop of 2-3 tenths or is that to much. The old tranny needed shifted @5800 or it would not go in gear especially 1-2 shift. But now it is better than new. What do you think.

i would say you should see a .2-.3 drop because you werent even making full power when you shifted before. peak HP is around 6,100-6,400 on the NE Cobras, so shifting betweebn 6500-6800 should help a bit on top of the 4.30s

Sorry, not Hensler I meant Hanlon Motorsports.Hensler Racing ported my upper and lower intake. My 60' was a 1.76 on the count of not being able to hook.I am hoping for a 1.68 or so.Iwas thinking because the car is so heavy that I had good mph with a poor 12.59.Does weight allow you to trap higher mph and slower et?Inever heard so but just curious, thanks.

no but less traction does. I ran 1.5's-1.6's all day on my et streets. You are going to run a 28in. tire correct?

Just shifting the car at 6800 should get you a better et just by itself.

No 26x10x15 hoosier slicks on 15x10 telestars, with my heavier weight I dont need 28" tires.I ran 26x11.50x15 et streets before with the 4.30's and went thru the traps about 6-6200 rpm's.I tried 28" et grags with 4.30's and a 60 shot of nitrous and the car would bog out with a 6,000 rpm launch.
