Nice car. I have one very similar. Except mines a 384 stroker, callies rods, callies dragon slayer crank, trick flow heads with a big LG g5xx cam, and ported fast 90, and ls2 tb. Mines speed density and it still surges so I don't think that will help it but it may be in the tune. Mine will idle on its own but isles around 600 rpm for about 30 secs then isles normal around 1000. Glws I couldn't find anyone that wanted to trade even much less give boot

It will idle on it's own fine, except when dead cold, it takes a little bit, then it's fine.
