Traded the GT for a FX2

After having truck withdraws for some time now I traded my 2012 5.0 Mustang for a 2013 FX2 with the 402A pkg and with the 5.0

I know there was a whole debate with the Mustang how the factory CAI was the best that ford have come up with for the Mustang and it was just a waist of money buying a aftermarket so is it the same with the F150 and the 5.0 ?

My first mod so far is to remove the chrome f150 badges and replace them with the black and red badges from the appearance pkg, in fact I hope they come in today ? Found the 3pc set on eBay for $129.00

Love the truck so far, why the 5.0 over the 6 I guess I just wanted the V8 and not a 6 in the truck plus towing anything any time soon will most likely not happen and from what I have read the mpg will not be much different.

Just picked up a 2011 FX2 in hammond a little north of you at Bill Hood ford. I love it so far, coming from a 2008 5.3 silverado crew cab. The eco boost is night and day difference, 20-21 mpg so far.

Congrats I guess maybe I should have test drove a Ecoboost just to see how it felt but in the end I would have chosen the 5.0

I can tell you from experience that when I test drove both the ecoboost and 5.0, power-wise they felt exactly the same. I could not tell the difference in the pull.

I will say that the ecoboost was more fun as everytime the turbos would spool it would put a smile on my face. The 5.0 definitely had better sound though.

They are both great trucks, it was kinda like picking between a brunette or a blonde that were both a 10. Pick your poison.

Nice, I just picked up a 2011 5.0 with every option under the sun. I love this truck so much. Not even sure what mods to start with. Most likely tint the front windows.
