Get a used T-56. The only thing you need extra is a new tranny crossbrace and to get your driveshaft cut. For me, the total for the two of those was less than $300...

go 6 don't deny yourself....just go with a V spec 6.
Ahhhh, go with a cobra r spec, the viper spec doesnt have the greatest ratios for our torque less cars. But you should only need the trans, drive shaft and crossmember. I think. I would do a flywheel and clutch while it was apart though.

mine just went too. i went with a built t-45 from pro-motion in fla it's supposed to good for 750+hp which is way more than i need but it was cheaper to buy that one versus re-build the one i have. from what i understand it's pretty well a direct swap. i did need a new shifter though so i went with the mgw. anyway if your interested here is a link if you call them talk to walt.http://www.promotionpowertrain.com/

how do you like the t-45 compared to the 3650?
Oh Boy thats gonna be a long story heh

All I can say is that I like the way my 3650 feels over the t-45

which one is better is not a debate I want to get into heh

If you do not mind me asking, what did it run you price wise and how do you like it?
Is it better than a standard/regular T45 (ie: smoother shifting, etc)?

well it will be here friday so we will see. it's apparently a beefed up t-45 and the price was 1390.00 for the box.

Yup, Walt's a good guy.

Also, ask about their firewall adjuster.... it stiffens the firewall some, my clutch has never released better.

When you get your tranny please tell us about the install and how you like it $1390 is a good price
Also if it is totally direct fit or not

The UPR kit is fine, but the unique thing about ProMotions adjuster is that instead of just sitting on the outside it has a plate that goes on the inside and comes through the firewall making it much stiffer.
