Personally, I'd find a low milage T-56 from a terminator and then just buy the correct crossbrace. I saved over $1000 compared to the rebuilt T-56 kit from D&D (and over $1300 for a kit w/ new T-56). But, to each his own.

I'd get the kit from D&D so you can get the Cobra R spec tranny with the 2.97 1st gear. The 03-04 Cobra has a 2.66 1st gear which will kill your low end torque(unless you've got an Eaton or KB).
