My transmission is acting funny... from a stop, I launch, accelerate in 1st and it shifts into second fine, then it will accelerate through 2nd, then trys to shift into 3rd, but decides to go back into 2nd (which puts it right back or a lil past redline.) So, I let out of the gas, let it shift into 3rd and get back on it and it runs great.
I took it to my tuner and had him look at the tune (it seemed to start this problem after my last tune was written onto my chip) but he said everything looked fine and insisted it was mechanical (said the newly installed 4.10's put the transmission under significantly more stress). It only happens on the 2-3 shift, all others work perfectly. I have a JLP valve body and have the line pressure backed out. What does this sound like it could be to you?
