Transmission Work

I'm having some sounds/issues with my trans and wanted opinions on where I should go to have it looked at.

How do you feel about taking your cars back to Ford? My car has many aftermarket parts and wasn't sure how they handle these cars once mods have been done (or just take the car to any local "good" trans shop).

I say pull the trans yourself and rebuild it on your own. The T56 is a very easy trans to rebuild. You can get the parts from several places online, and the manual can be downloaded from Tremec for free. You will need a pair of snap ring pliers, a puller with 18" legs (you can make your own for about 30 bucks.) and common hand tools. Very easy.
