I decided to sell my AFS replica wheels to help fund a set of black True Forged Chicanes. The AFS i had on the rear were 18x10.5in with a 6.9 backspace. I also had half inch spacers on to bring everything flush with the top fender.

My question is (and anyone with pics please post) should i go with 18x11 True Forged or stay with 18x10.5? i doubt i will need spacers with 18x11, but then again i dont want them sticking out too far past the top fender? Do anyone have pics of 18x11 or 18.10.5 True Forged wheels from the rear of the car?

Thanks in advanced!
Troy

Talk to Steve at TF. If you order them with fender flush option the 18x11's won't stick out past the fender.

Order the 04sleeper offset. That leaves you 1/4" in for the buldge of the tire to sit even with the fender.

The fender flush option leaves the RIM even with the fender. That way if you have any tire buldge, it will stick past the fender.

Ok, any reason that i should get the 2.9? I was debating between 3.4 and 2.9, but 2.9 is plenty for my mods. i wont be going over 20lbs. would you recommend the 2.3 or going with the 2.9?

if you are staying at 20lbs or less then i would go 2.3. street car id go 2.3. e85 car and lots of boost id do 2.9. 2.3 is plenty when set up right. on pump 93 im at 616. search around on here, there is plenty of info on those set ups
