I am debating getting another set of true forged wheels and I really like the stepped lip look. Any tf step lip wheel owners have problems with rims bending due to hitting a pothole or due to tire installer being rough mounting tires? Just wanting to see how durable or easy to bend the lips are compared to the flat lips also.
Thanks

I haven't owned any True Forged wheels, but in my opinion step lips look exponentially better. I have run them on a set of Ronals, BBS, and a custom set. All 3 were on stretched tires so there wasn't much protection from the tire. It really all comes down to how you drive, but with the sidewalls you will likely run it will be just fine. Just dodge potholes, I even do it in cars with LARGE sidewalls. More of a habit more than anything anymore.

I haven't had any issues, but I avoid potholes and crappy roads in general.
