Trunk Liner Missing?

I was just giving my 1 day old 03 Cobra a wash since the dealer prep people sprayed some shiney stuff on the tires and on the way home the stuff spun off the tires and got both sides of the car. Anyway, while detailing the car I noticed that it looks like on the inside of the trunk lid, where the trunk light is, there should be a cloth or something similar, type of cover which would cover the wiring, spoiler mounting bolts, etc.
Is it supposed to be that way? Or did my car get made without the cover put in place? Thanks

Mine does not have a cover either.

That's just the way it is.. nothing missing or anything. I've owned 2 mustangs, the cobra will be my 3rd and thus far, all the trunklids are like that:gt:
