Just a quick question here. Has anybody tired mixing 2 gals of straight Xylene 117 octane with 13 gals of Ethanol 93 octane pump gas to make a 96.2 octane level. Also, does anybody know if the Xylene is unleaded or if it will do any harm to the car? I have been mixing 2 gals of Sunoco 110 leaded in my car to boost the octane level up to 95.3 in case I get a bad batch of gas but in the mean time I now have shot my O2 censors to hell. Trying to find a better way to get that added insurance without replacing my 02 every 8 months or so.

Any and all help in this matter would be great...:)

Thanks,

Thank you... I have read tons of threads but very few on what the cause and effect is on our fuel systems, valves, pistons Etc. Also, if it would work in the application that I am trying to use it for... I guess I will have to be the first to find out... Hope my motor stays together...
