I'm thinking of moving to San Antonio, TX in next few months or so. Currently living in San Diego right now. Truck is bone stock besides CAI & exhaust. I know a tune will help me out regardless, but will I need a tune because of the weather variation between SD and SA?

If your stock with no tune currently, then no your fine.
That's what I was hoping to hear. Any highly recommended shops in or near the SA area? ...Warranty is up next year and that's when the modding begins. :rockon:
Temperature, altitude and barometric pressure are all monitored and corrected for by the PCM and whether you go to death valley or boulder CO the tune will allow and correct for the changes. Even when a custom tune is applied this still holds true (providing that tune is correctly done of course). There are a few differences for tuning in different areas but nothing that would preclude your trip in stock form however.
