Tuning Issue - Need Info

08 GT500, bought in Nov 21 not much info on it. Found out recently that there may have been a tune loaded on the car, however have no information as to what tune, brand of tuner used, etc.... What can be done to remove this tune, get the car back to stock so if I decide to tune it i can use a tuner of my chosing? Thanks in Advance!

If you are sure everything is stock, loading the stock tune will be fine. If your car has injectors, cold air, headers, pulley, etc.. the stock tune would not be correct for your hardware. If it is stock and just has a tune, a SCT programmer will simply assume your existing tune is the stock tune, and then load your new aftermarket tune. Reverting to stock will load your unknown tune.

Agree with post # 4, you 1st have to determine what was done to the car, making it require a tune..
