Thats gay, and wouldnt it glowing eventually kill the battery if you dont drive it for like a week?

Honestly if a 5 watt bulb kills your battery in a week then your battery is shit.

How did you get around the "PATS" system?

I've been looking into doing something like this, and according to this article, it doesn't look like you have to worry about the PATS system at all.

That link doesn't do anything about the PATS system, you still need the key.

Right, you still have to put the key in and turn it to the on position. It would be sweet to be able to disable or fix the PATS system somehow.

I've been gone for awhile....IT wasn't bad to install, I used the Honda button because it in itself is a relay so I didn't have to add one somewhere else in the circuit. It was easy to install- just mount the button, ground it, power it from a circuit that is only powered when the key is on (i.e. cruise control) and splice into the ignition starter wire in the big bundle in the steering column. The button sends the same low voltage signal to the starter that the key does when you turn it the last click to "start". You still have to have the key and turn it to start. There is no real purpose for this except that i liked engine start buttons after driving a Ford GT, unfortunately the button out of the GT is like $130 or somethin, the honda one was about $40 i think. I found an oem one from japan on ebay, cause there are alot of knock-offs.

And as fas the the retard escort guy, chill- it only lights up when you have the key in the ignition turned to on. do us a favor and stick to the zx2 forum....o, wait
