Hey guys, Im looking for suggestions on my current plan. Just trying to find out if there is anything Im missing or NEED that I don't already have. I have a 2008 GT500, stock (minus Tri-Ax STS and Corsa axleback) Current parts ready to go on are:

FRPP TVS (stock pulley) with inlet and 90mm idler
SCT Tuner
2011 GT500 factory CAI w/ resonator delete and Steeda filter
LFP H/E
LFP 7X coolant res.
new thermostat
(suspension is being done by BMR)

I'll be using my stock injectors and TB. Tuning will be done by Murillo in San Antonio. Stock cats and factory Xpipe are staying on.

MY QUESTION: For now, does this set up look safe? I'm looking to get 600whp out of it on 93. (Admin notes: I don't track the car, just looking to get some good 40-120mph pulls).

Future mods will be bigger injectors, JLT 127mm, bigger TB and a BAP.

Thank you for any input, constructive criticisms or suggestions. Feel free to comment, I won't be butt hurt.

Big shout out to Lightning Force Performance for their help and customer service. $606.00 shipped for my H/E, tank and thermostat including having SVT painted on the H/E and shipping! Thanks to TEagle for the suggestion. This is the H/E and tank i got:

Looks like a great deal you got their on the cooling mods. But never heard of Lightning Force Performance, and didn't know they made cooling mods for our cars. Is h/e made by them?

I didn't know who they were either but a buddy of mine is using their H/E on his 2011 and loves it. I asked who made the core for the H/E, but all he could tell me is it's made by a company in the USA. He said I could ask the owner but I didn't really care, lifetime warranty on the tank and made in the USA is good enough for me. I went with this one over the AFCO for the simple reason of price and size and the LFP one has 18 cooling fins per Sq inch. Also, Edit: the coolant tank is 7X bigger than stock, not 3X.

Some Specs on the H/E:

..............................Stock...........Afco..........LFP

Height.....................6.00''...........9.00''..........9.50''

Length.....................23.00''..........22.50''........26.50''

Thickness.................1.25''............2.00''.........2.50''

Surface Area.............138''.............202''..........251.75''

Overall Cubic Inches...172.50''.........405''..........629.73''

Price.........................N/A............$499.95.......$449.95

Should be fine on stock injectors with the stock 2.7 pulley. I started to run outa fuel at 5900rpms on a 2.5 pulley had to add a BAP.

With my VMP and stock TB and a 2.5 pulley BJ said i was in the 90's on my fuel injectors. I think you will be fine. Just do some data logging and see where you are at.

BJ, ive been told by about 50 people that u are the God of TVS tunes lol. If you know what i need in regards to the mods i listed, id be plenty happy to have you do my tune. Only reason i was going to do a dyno tune is because i was worried about being on the dyno, maxing my fuel and running lean. If i can do a remote tune and you're sure ill be safe, ill do it.

You could always do like I'm doing and drive to Missouri in April and have it tuned on the dyno by VMP.

No fans. I'm not a fan of fans lol.

They work. I traded my AFCO unit for the Revan Racing H/E after having numerous heat problems on the road course with an upper pulley only. The Revan unit solved all my problems. Wish I didn't buy two H/Es but still worth it.
