Lended the car to my son for the week-end (to which I have the outmost trust), but one of his friend took the car for a spin without asking him. From what I was told, he floored it in second and lost control of it. Before he had a chance to flea he got caught by the cops (so driver's licence suspended for 30 days and a fine for wreck less driving $1200). His father owns a wreck yard and offered me $8k (Cdn) for it. Says he may be able to get $4K out of it in parts. Not to mention his son will have to do chores for the yard for free.
So this will be an "adios amigos" for me.
