I know this is trivial but in the section labled Every technical spec you could ever want to know about stock 96-98 Cobras there is some misinformation regarding the MAF. In the article he states that,

RippinSVT said:
The Cobra engine begins the process of making horsepower behind the front grill, where a conical air cleaner sits ahead of an 80mm mass air sensor. The sensor measures the temperature and density of the air and feeds this information to the EEC-V - the electronic engine control computer.

The MAF measures neither air temperature or density. There is a current passed through the element in the MAF in turn heating it up. The air that passes over this element cools it down, decreasing the elements resistance.(same principal that makes cars harder to start when they are heat soaked) This creates a varying voltage singnal that depends on the amount of air passing over it.(The more air that passes over it the more it will cool) This signal combined with information from the IAT(Intake Air Temperature) sensor, directly down stream from the MAF, allow the ECU to determine how much air is entering the engine, or more appropriately, how much fuel to distribute.

Atleast I am pretty sure that is how it works. The author sounded more like he was describing a speed density system.
