Upgrading to Brembo Brakes

I got hold of some 4-piston Brembo calipers that supposedly came off a
Mustang (don't know what year).

When I compare the mounting ears with a stock 2011+ GT caliper, the Brembo
ears are farther apart.

Does this mean I have incompatible calipers, or that I need brackets?

If I just need brackets, does anyone have a Ford part number?

My Brembo calipers bolted right up to the same mounting points as my factory, non-Brembo calipers. Sounds like you have the wrong type.

I'm not sure if there is anyone that makes any type of bracket you would need.

Yeah, I just watched a video from LMR, and the guy said the calipers are from a 2007-12 GT500... Balls.

GT500 calipers should bolt right up. I bought the reman version for myself on my 13 and they lined up perfect. I think someone sold you the wrong calipers.
