An interchangeable lower setup is the best way to go. Changing the upper is more headache, more costly and will cause belt slip quicker than going to a 4 or 6# lower.

if i go with a 4 lower, how much more boost will i be running? Are the lowers easy to change? Do I need a new belt?

4lb gives you 4lb of boost. I have a 4 lower on my truck that i am taking off this weekend (which I will make you a hell of a deal on) and putting on a 8lb lower and 2.8 upper. The lower is easy to put on and no one will no that you changed the pulley by looking at it. People can look and tell that you changed the upper. Make sur that you put a tune on your truck when you change the pulley. ( I have a programmer that I will hook you up with also :)
