Upr Coilover Question

I have Upr Coilovers with stock shocks ATM and have installed the coilovers Per MM(C/C plates)instructions. Now when i hit larger bumps, mostly when below 40, it makes a LOUUDDDD Bang . Sounds like a sledge hammer hitting the strut-tower And its only on the pass. side. Anyways, i was under the car today, and noticed the cup assembly ontop of the Coilspring assembly was touching the strut-tower on one side

So with that being said, do i need to space the Spring assembly further away from the tower, or have the assembly butt-up to the car???

Im running into the same problem...no matter how many spacers I put underneath after a few miles of driving it starts clunking again.

maybe the shock is bottoming out??? i dont understand. I may run a fox shock and see if that doesnt fix it

YEAP it's the shock..mine did the same thing and i put strange 10 way's on it and it works better than ever.

i put the UPS C/Os on my 97 at the same time with new D-specs replacing D&D C/Os and Lakewoods, night and day difference, and I had always been skeptical of UPR stuff, but I was very happy with them. Just sold that car and debating on C/Os for my new 04..
