Use a gasket between MAF and Filter mount?

When I installed my LFP CAI, it doesn't come with a gasket to put between the MAF and the billet aluminum piece that the air filter attatches too. Should I have used the stock gasket that was on the stock airbox, or just bolt the alum piece to the MAF and assume no dirt will get through there?

Yes use the stock gasket in there and don't overtighten the bolts, it's not dirt as much as unmetered air you don't want getting in there as it will lean out your mixture.

I made a nice little gasket out of cork/rubber for mine.
