I was in the market for a 2018 350 $58,000, or get a 2018 GT premium L2 $45,000. The newest GT has active exhaust, and magneride suspension just like the 350. Also included was leather recaro seats for the $45,000. Roush has a new supercharger which installed at dealership is an extra $10,000. Total price is $55,000. So for $58,000 GT350 which I love is 526hp. Or a $55,000 2018 GT 401A premium with Roush supercharger 700+ hp, and still maintains factory warranty. Thoughts?

How long do you plan on keeping it? After just one year of ownership, the GT350 will still be worth around $50K. The Roush charged GT will be down in the $30Ks. I don't know what it is with Roush cars, but they don't hold value at all.

It isn't a waste to every owner.

I certainly don't feel that way at all, after nearly a year with the car.

Same here. Even with my nearly 8 year old GT500, the Shelby "novelty" hasn't worn off. There are still some touches that separate it from the rest of the Mustang lineup. I don't think I'll ever get the complaints about power. It's not like somebody driving a C-class (even a C63 S) is going to blow my doors off while I'm in my R. And even if they did, hell, I'll just catch 'em at the next turn! haha If I'm itching to be shoved into my seat, my GT500 can scratch that quite nicely.
