After three years of the usual wash and dry job, I read about clay bars and wanted to try it out. Dbl G offered to come buy and help me out and he did an awesome job with the Porter-Cable as well. With friends like this I wouldn't mind detailing an 18-wheeler :D -as long there's enough cold beer . Here's some selected shots of my shining baby, the first with Garrett's HD...

She looks great.. You dont realize how much crap gets missed when washing, until you break out the claybar. It makes a whole world of difference.

As consolidated work effort, we spent about 4 hours two people. Having already washed the truck we spent 1.5 hour with Mothers Showtime and clay bars, 1.5 hours with the Porter-Cable and Mothers PowerPolish (swirl remover) and then an hour with the Porter-Cable and Mothers Carnauba Cleaner Wax.
