VA Loan

I am going to try and buy a house within the next 4 months and I was wondering if any one on here has used the VA process.

My wife is a full time student and there for does not work. I currently rent and want to buy. I have an excellent credit rating but I do have a car payment and the normal bills.

Is there a web site that anyone has used to apply online in order to not waste my time sitting at bank, just to be told no.

I just went through my insurance/ banking company, USAA. If you're not a member you should be. The process was very easy. Aside from a few extra forms it wasn't much different.

i bought a home last year with the VA loan, very easy. Nice thing about the VA loan is they dont require a down payment.

I bought mt house 3 years ago without using the va loan. Stupid mistake. I paid almost 200 dollars a month in pmi. Finally coverted over to a va loan last March or so. Saved over 200 bucks a month after wasting 3 grand in over a year. Easy to use and all kinds of benifits. Easy and cheaper to refinance in the future also. Go for it.
