I'd like to remove the valve cover bolts on my 98 cobra for cleaning and polishing. I would remove them one at a time and reinstall them at proper torque. When I say one at a time, I mean remove one, clean it, reinstall it.

Is there any problem with doing this? Gasket issues... Leaks....

Not that I can see. I've built a few push rod engines in the past and you could take them off and put them back on all day long. You should be fine on the mod motor even if you do one bolt at a time.

I've done what you're planning last year and perform it so the same way you are thinking. I've yet to have leaking issues.
