Hey everyone, I tried searching for valve cover leaks already but didnt really find for what i was looking for. Is this something I should be worried about, or is this normal. Its not dripping off or anything, but some things coming out of there. Any input would be helpful, thanks in advance.

 Over time...And with a little bit of mileage...Your going
to see that. Now is a good time to put custom valve covers
and fix the leak...In other words...A good excuse to spend
$$$ on the L.

Its normal dirt and grim build up also dont tighten valve cover bolts to much because then it will pinch the sealant.

Is there oil in the intake elbow? Pull it off and look at the throttle body, you probably will need an oil seperator.

Spray it down with some full strength Simple Green and it'll do wonders. It appears to be normal underhood grime build up to me. The valve cover bolts have a standoff in them so you can't overtighten them and pinch the gasket or crack the covers so unless the bolts have come loose, tightening them more won't help.

Thanks Fade, I actually installed the oil seperator in the first day I got my truck.
