I feel that customer service is so significant, I had to make this post to pat one of our vendors on the back.
I sent an e-mail to Gord of Gord’s Ford Performance on Sunday evening.
For those of you unfamiliar with the name, he supplies the super Heat Exchanger for our Cobras.
I was doing the install of the Gord’s Heat Exchanger on my car over the weekend and discovered that I didn’t have all of the parts I needed to transfer the fans over from their installation on the stock HE to the new Gord’s piece.
These pieces are not normally supplied by Gord unless you purchase the kit with the fans already installed.
So anyway, I sent him the e-mail Sunday asking about the parts and Monday he is calling me from Canada with all the info on the parts and is sending them out to me the same day.
I guess the point is that there is more to a product than cost. You might find an aftermarket HE for less, but you won’t match the quality or the service from Gord.
