During a 2nd gear punch i lost tons of power and dropped down to about 3 lbs of boost I put my car into neutral and it was idling at around 4k. I looked for a vacuum line that may have been off and could not see anything. After spraying the back of the motor with carb cleaner i noticed the car lean out. I was told the vacuum line on the bottom of the intake was off. I know have my blower and intake off. The vacuum line was on with no cracks. All other vacuum lines look good. I am stumped. Anyone have any ideas?

The car is a pulley/intake/LT car.

Do you have a tuner? Trend the Throttle position sensor. TPS should be zero if you are not touching the gas pedal. Try cleaning your IAC with a good solvent too. Make sure it opens and closes. If it is open after warm up you will see your idle rise.

This can be tricky but not impossible to narrow down. Double check all vacuum fittings. Make one correction at a time to narrow the field. Good Luck.....

Good luck
