'03 Cobra: after having 2.81 pulley and 90mm idler installed I now notice a high pitched vibration noise in the 2k-3k rpm range while in boost, similar to that of the blower that was not there while stock.
Anyone else? :??:

Upper pulley & Idler install

You are probably refering to a 2.80". Possibly when install was done either idler mounting bracket or blower pulley is not plum or mounted correctly. Go back and check all your tolerences.

it might be normal...

they might be correctly installed....depending on how the pulleys are made they might be creating a whistle or whine sound at high RPM

I believe the non-slips made by Reichard Racing will do that

Or the vibration could be the belt slipping. Are you using the stock belt?

how do the pulleys and belt look as the engine idles?

look at it from different angles, but especially from the drivers side fender.....does it appear that things are lined up properly and belt is running true? are pulleys wobbling at all?

you can try watching as RPM is increased, but obviously that can be dangerous if you're standing in harm's way
